PBH Track Engineering can support in many areas within the rail engineering business and can provide resources to support project delivery as well as providing project engineering assurance in line with key engineering roles outlined in NR/L2/RSE/02009 and provides services to 3rd party organisations that require that expert guidance when working within the railway corridor.

Engineering Assurance

Our Engineering team are highly skilled and experienced in undertaking all track engineering roles outlined in NR/L2/RSE/02009; CRE, PE, CEM, CM, DPE and DEM. Capable of supporting the smaller single discipline schemes such as Plain Line RR and S&C renewals to the larger more MD schemes such as Hs2.
PBH Assurance contracts:
• CSRA – HS2 MD enabling works
• Morgan Sindall – Track renewals
• SRSA – S&C renewals
• NWR – LNE; RR, S&C refurbishment, Track Drainage, Platform extensions, Track recoveries.
CEM/CRE & DPE/PE COVER

We can provide CEM/CRE & DPE/PE cover on track and all other disciplines.
CSM & HAZARD MANAGEMENT

We support CSM requirements and Project Hazard management.
TRACK MONITORING
+
We produce Track Monitoring Plans and CRT management plans inclusive of RA requirements set out in NR/L2/CIV/177.
CRITICAL RAIL TEMPERATURE

We undertake and manage CRT including Hot weather arrangements – patrolling, ESRs etc including designs.
TRACK CONDITION

We undertake and prepare track condition assessments along with detailed reports.
CONSTRUCTION MANAGEMENT

We can provide construction management cover on Core Works.
TECHNICAL SUPPORT
+
We provide tech support cover on P-Way Core Works for Plain Line and S&C works– Setting out Eng, Excavation supervision, Tamping.
POST INSTALLATION WORKS

Our team can complete all post installation works including provision and installation of Datum/Geometry Plates.
HAND BACK ENGINEERS

We have the resources to provide hand-back Engineers – up to level 4.
STRESSING ENGINEERS

We have the resources to provide Stressing Engineers up to Level 3.
TGS/TQS SUPPORT
+
We can provide TGS/TQS support for Tamping works (Both Plasser & Matissa competent).
LASER DOZER 3D MODELLING
+
Provide Laser Dozer 3D modelling, including files and site tech support.
