DRIVING GROWTH: WELCOMING OUR NEW CIVILS CONSULTING DEPARTMENT
We are excited to announce the expansion of our business with the introduction of our fifth division: Civils Consulting. This new addition marks a significant step forward in our mission to deliver comprehensive services to our clients.
The Civils Consulting department will focus on providing expert advice and solutions in civil engineering, further strengthening our ability to meet diverse client needs. As we continue to grow, we remain committed to innovation, collaboration, and excellence, ensuring our team and services evolve to match the demands of the industry
We are thrilled to announce the official launch of PBH Civil Consulting. Headed up by our new Managing Director – Civils, Gary Robson our Civils division will offer tailored solutions in design, construction, and engineering in civil infrastructure, the new civils division will bolster our expertise in the industry, delivering expertise in the industry, delivering tailored, full-service rail engineering.
PBH Civil Consulting will sit alongside the group’s existing Survey, Overhead Line, Track Engineering and Permanent Way teams. It will initially provide civil-related design support within the group, then develop opportunities with the company’s existing and new clients.
ANNUAL GOLF DAY 2024
Back in July we hosted our annual charity golf day at Forest Park Golf Club, raising money for our chosen charity, One Punch UK. The only birdies were of the feathered variety, but we were fortunate to have good weather and some great golf. Most importantly, we raised a good amount for charity.
One Punch is a charity close to our hearts following the death of one of our founding directors, Darren Pudsey. Daz was always very keen on supporting local charities and groups through sponsorships or events and we are proud to be continuing his legacy through his generous nature

WIXAMS TO BEDFORDSHIRE
Track Engineering is pleased to announce its collaboration with South Rail Systems Alliance (SRSA) on a third-party funded project supported by Bedford Borough Council, aimed at enhancing railway infrastructure
from Wixams to Bedfordshire. As the Designated Project Engineer (DPE) for this initiative, our team is committed to ensuring that all engineering standards and safety protocols are met throughout the project lifecycle.
The project is currently at ES5 (Detailed design) and we are focused on meticulously planning each phase to facilitate a seamless transition into operational use. We are optimistic about bringing the station online by the second quarter of 2026, which will significantly improve connectivity and support the growing needs of the local community
