Gauging

PBH Rail have an in-house expert Gauging team who work with our survey and design teams to ensure all aspects of Gauging assessment and are covered on our projects and recommendations made accordingly. As well as gauging assessment to support design production we provide as built gauging assessments to support handback of worksites.

We also support clients with technical input/reports in preparation for Derogation applications against Network Rail/Group Standards and European legislation where required. We also update/upload structures CSD led to the National Gauging Database.

We work direct with Network Rail Gauging engineers in agreeing specific requirements for site specific solutions and in support of Developing Gauging Standards.

We also provide support to the industry for introduction of new vehicles onto the Network.
